Her findings caused an earthquake that moved the British government to reimagine healthcare, including the creation of prefabricated field hospitals. The British public, so thankful for her efforts, immortalized her as 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘢𝘥𝘺 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘢𝘮𝘱, caring for the needy and infirmed. After the war, she spent her life establishing modern nursing through the use of statistics and data visualization. She even invented the polar area pie chart. In today’s world, we’ve all known the care of a nurse, often in our most vulnerable moments. That gift was given to us by Florence Nightingale through her dedication to care and data-driven medicine.
